Mr. Steven Harper, The Prime Minister was here at MT Bellies on October 9th 2009. We fed the Prime Minister of Canada. He enjoyed his lunch of a Philly Steak Wrap (hence the new menu item Stevie Cheese Steak Wrapper) and then took time to sign his chair and pose for a few photo ops.

On Tuesday February 9th at M.T.Bellies, 15 hungry contestants gathered to raise money for the United Way and wage war against a completely fully loaded 2 pound Burger Beast.
In a first to finish race, Joe (the Animal) Labenski munched his way to become the 2010 Niagara Giant Eater Champion. Joe’s winning time of 13 minutes 8 seconds was well ahead of second place finisher Jon Villifana and third place John Robins. The United Way of South Niagara, in a supporting role, was able to gobble up $3000 with this fun’ raising event.

“It’s a Wonderful Life” was a gourmet dinner to celebrate the wonderful people that embrace the spirit of support in our community.

A successful event! The 2009 event raised $9400 for the Welland Hospital Foundation.
